Riset Ceremonies Services
Every ceremony marks a moment that matters. I create bespoke, heartfelt ceremonies that honour those moments with care and meaning — from life’s greatest celebrations to its quietest goodbyes.
Weddings, Commitment & Civil Ceremonies
As a civil celebrant, I create ceremonies that reflect your relationship and your story. My approach is non-religious, but I’m always happy to include hymns, prayers, blessings or acknowledgements of loved ones present in spirit, if that feels right for you — all delivered with warmth and sincerity.
Vow Renewals
Vow renewals can mark an anniversary, celebrate resilience, or simply say “I still choose you.” Together, we’ll create a ceremony that honours your journey so far and looks forward to what’s still to come.
Naming ceremonies celebrate love, belonging and the promises being made. They can welcome a new baby, honour adoption, or mark the joining of a blended family. Each ceremony is non-religious, personal and entirely bespoke.

Personal Milestones & Celebrations
From milestone birthdays and anniversaries to new beginnings and meaningful transitions, I create ceremonies that pause life for a moment and give it words.

Funerals, Memorials & Interments
I work closely with families to create ceremonies that honour a life truthfully and respectfully — whether quiet and reflective or celebratory in tone.
I offer support with wedding vows, speeches and readings — writing from scratch or refining your own words — so what you say feels natural, heartfelt and truly you.

Learn More About Handfasting Ceremonies
Handfasting is a beautiful symbolic ritual that represents unity, commitment and the binding together of two lives. These short videos will give you a feel for how this meaningful tradition can be woven into your ceremony.

Riset Ceremonies
If you choose me as your Celebrant, please don’t hesitate to ask me for advice or ideas to make the ceremony more personal.
Step 1: Contact me.
We’ll talk about the occasion and arrange a meeting in person or via Zoom if this isn’t possible.
You put the kettle on; I’ll get my notepad out and we’ll simply chat. I’m a ‘people person’ so I’m pretty sure we can form a productive relationship. If it’s a wedding, we’ll meet a few times before ‘the big day.’
This is my bit. Essentially, I want to gain a rich understanding of the essence of the person or people involved and the details you want like music, readings, activities and themes etc. It’s all about building something together. I’ll listen to you carefully so that I can create a ceremony you can look back on and feel was done ‘just right’.
